my appointment yesterday

Well my doctor was called into surgery before my appointment and no one from her office called me to re-schedule, even though they said they did, I had no missed calls. So I had already gone ahead and drank the glucose drink 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment, so they went ahead and did the lab work and did my u/s and I'll go back tomorrow just to see the doctor. I think it's a waste of time because everything looked good and the doctor isn't going to do anything besides measure my belly with a tape measure, and the doctor's office is on the other end of town from my office, and I have to go back in 2 weeks anyway so I don't see why I can't just wait and go then, but the nurse said I had to come back later this week. So that's my vent about that.

It was really nice to see my girls on the ultrasound. I told the u/s tech I wasn't feeling any movement on my left side (that's where Baby A is) so she made sure to wake that baby up and get her to move, and she is moving all over the place. Baby A has flipped and is now breech, so the little pokes I've been feeling really low in my belly is Baby A kicking and I just didn't realize it. I can easily feel Baby B, she is head down and her feet are up around my ribs. They are both about 2 and a half pounds now and getting so big! My cervix is the same as it's been since 7 weeks, both babies have plenty of fluid, and we are all doing great!

Oh and I didn't pass out this time when they took blood! Last time I think I was just nervous because I had just found out I was pregnant, but the blood drawing this time was no big deal, I had myself worked up over nothing. Keep your fingers crossed that I passed the glucose test!

 

yay! thats all good news. i have an U/S tomorrow and i am curious to see if baby b flipped again because i think she is back in breech position!
