my afternoon in L&D

After having contractions and really not feeling right, i went into the dr today. She checked my cervix and as i was already 1cm dilated, she gave me an ffn test and sent me to l&d for nst, monitor my contractions, and rehydrate me. FFN test came back negative, contractions are still giving me a bit of a problem so they just gave me a shot of terbutaline and im hoping to go back home in a couple hours. I'm now currently on bedrest and have my next dr appt thursday, so we see how things go then. Well, i knew it was only a matter of time, makin it this far is a blessing and time to keep my legs crossed a few more weeks.

You can do it though!!! Follow your gut and go anytime things dont feel right. Honesty, I think thats the KEY!

I went at 29 weeks, then again at 32 weeks. I had my labor stopped twice and made it to induction at 37 weeks, dialted to 5, 100% effaced and not in labor. You can do it too!!!

I finally got to go home around 8 last night and they decided i shouldnt wait till thursday, so i'm going to see my dr first thing monday again. My husband is all paranoid and making sure i'm sticking to my bedrest (which is probably good cause i'm not one to lay around). With my DD i was on bedrest by week 31 (3cm dilated 100% effaced) and they had to stop my labor twice before week 33, so i'll admit there is part of me that's paranoid now because i know it can all happen so fast. At least this time i'm not shocked like i was with DD.
