my 4 month old is mobile!

Miss Ava Grace likes the bumbo seat ok as long as I am right with her - problem is I often put them in them and wash clothes or do something where I am back and forth in the room - well she HATES that!! she arches that little back and screams (I'm probably glad I don't have a translator that speaks baby here!) well today I was washing clothes and walked back into the room and the child was halfway down the hall (several feet from where I put her!!!)
I love the bumbo seats because I could put them on the counter while I load the dishwasher and the girls are very happy -
well I can't do that anymore!! I would be afraid to turn my head for a minute!! I'm so glad it happened while she was on the floor!!!

 

Wow! That is amazing for 4 months of age.

 

YEAH!!! I could not believe it!! I guess she just arched her back and pushed with those little piggies???!!!! I sat here for a minute trying to watch her do it and she didn't - but she did it twice today once while I washed clothes and once while I showered!!!

 

Super yikes Heather! I love Bumbos but I agree, they are meant for the floor!

Wow, that's amazing to me...but I know nothing about 4.5 month plds. My little ones will be 4 months on June 2nd and I was just thinking of getting a bumbo. Do you thin k it will be worth it now? How long will it be used?

My girls arch their backs when their in the Bumbo even when they're not mad about being in it. But they have yet to get out of it. I've thought a couple of times that they were going to get out, luckily they didn't. But since they started doing that I haven't put it anywhere but on the floor.
That must have been scary for you.
