My 29 week appt.

I swore all week that I must have a bladder infection. I pee every 15 minutes, and only a little at a time but still feel like I need to go again right after. I have been having alot of sharp pains that sometimes stop me in my tracks. I mentioned this to my DR and we checked there is no bladder infection. He then checked to see if I was dialating and that was the cause of the pains. Nope. Silly me it was just the babys head sitting really low and squishing my bladder like a pancake. Oh Joy!! It doesnt feel good and I am sick of going to the bathroom!!!! Both my girls sat really low before and it was uncomfortable but my cervix hurt more than anything, I didnt have to go as often either. My last appointment the baby was head down, I guess I should have known it was a head but it felt different than before so I didnt even think that would be the cause! :fool:

My blood pressure is the lowest its ever been in my life 130/ 80. 2 months ago it was 150/85 and my Dr thought we might have to consider meds soon. But Nope its getting better not worse!! :Clap: My total weight gain is 11 pounds I gained 2 this last month. I do my 1 hour glucose test on Monday. I hope I pass. All in all things are going well! I am so releived and I am not worrying so much that something is going to go wrong. I think I have been waiting for it to just get bad since I had SO many problems before, and all my sisters, even those who havent had twins, have had really bad pregnancies.

I forgot to add that I am only measuring 2 weeks ahead now. He said the LNP could have been measuring off because of my "extra fluff and twin skin combo". That also had me feeling better!

I've been measuring consistently 2 weeks ahead--the baby measures 1-3 weeks ahead every u/s.

Oh yeah, when you are peeing, trying either tilting back or forward (I know TMI), but that helps me to move him off my bladder sometimes.

Sounds like a great appointment. I had mine today and was shocked to see I had not gained anything at all (and just put on the few pounds that I lost recently.) This point with the twins, I was already up 14 lbs!
