My 28 week check-up

Hello ladies! Just wanted to update everyone on my 28 week appointment. All went well. My belly is now measuring 34 weeks. It has consistently been measuring 5 weeks ahead, but jumped 1 more week. I knew something was up when I gained 7 lbs in 3 weeks. The dr called it a growth spurt and didn't seem too concerned about the weight gain. So far I have gained 29 lbs :blink:!

I also had an u/s done and although the tech wouldn't tell me anything, I was checking all her stats on the screen. It appears (unofficially) that baby A weighs 2 lbs 9 oz and baby B weighs 2 lbs 7 oz. The one thing that did concern me though was the lenght of my cervix. It looked as though it was 3.64. Is that number okay? I asked the tech and she said it looked okay, but asked me why I would want to know??? That seemed odd to me. Anyway, the dr told me to start taking easy but no direct orders to stop anything. I am trying to take it easy when I can as we own a busy b and b in WV and it's ski season!

Sounds like a good appt. I think your cervical length is fine.

Sounds like things are moving along I would be so frustrated if the tech didn't tell me anything. We always ask...heart beats, sizes and so on so we can write it all down.

congrats on the appt. I just had my 28 week appt as well and my cervix length was 3.6 which is average length.
