My 24 week Appointment and MY C/S DATE!

Today was our 24-25 week appointment. I had another u/s scheduled today because we couldnt get a look at our baby the last time. Today well he/she still wasnt themost cooperative. We did get a few more angles but still wasnt able to check everything out that they wanted. They will probably scedule me another u/s within the next 2 weeks. DH wanted to know what we where having this time. I was still on the fence about it. We got a peak but the u/s tech said she cant know for certain but leans more toward a girl but cant give us a guarantee because the baby wasnt lieng properly and had her/his legs crossed!! . ??? I am still not going out and buying any pink or blues yet. I am also measuring 6 weeks ahead? What does that mean? I didnt get an answer to the Dr, wasnt my dr he was out sick, he just said it was weird. This was the first time anyone had checked my fundal heighth so I have know idea what its been the rest of the time. I go back in 4 weeks for my GD test unless they call and want me to do another u/s.
The last part of my 3 hour dr visit, I was able to schedule my c/s. My heart was just raising as we where doing it. I am scheduled for May 29th at 12pm. One day after Dh's birthday. This means I only have 3months and 10 days left It sounds so close and so real now. I have so much to do!! I know its going to go by fast!!!!!

 

Congrats on a good appointment! It's nice to have a date in sight, as stressful as it is! I was dying to know what I was having, I can't imagine not knowing for sure! I am way too nosy!!!

 

I'm so jealous.....my doctor won't let me schedule my c section until I am 36 weeks.

 

SOrry to hear you couldn't find out! Glad you got your date! The light at the end of the tunnel. I was measuring 4 weeks ahead and they had me in for an extra ultrasound to make sure the baby wasn't growing too fast. (He wasn't.)

 

YAY!!! It is so nice to have a date!! and WOW!!! 3 months 10 days!! time has flown!! how exciting!! I know your girls must be SO EXCITED!!!!!

 

I'm also jealous. I don't get to schedule my c-section for a long time. The hospital won't let us. I'm sure it's frustrating not getting to know the sex for sure, but if you didn't really want to know, I guess it's not that big of a deal. For me, I couldn't wait to know what we were having. I'm such a planner and need to know these things.

 

YAY for having a date set!! The baby must know that you aren't for sure you want to know the gender so he/she is just making so you won't know 100%.

Congrats on a great apt! Sorry you weren't able to get a clearer view to find out the sex...maybe next time! Congrats on a date too...that's so exciting!
