My 16 week Appointment

I had my Appointment on Christmas eve. Having a single baby is alot different than twins. My office visit was 10 minutes long. I have gained 2.4 pounds so far this pregnancy. My blood pressure was up a little bit 142/72 but YAY I am still not on any BP meidicines. At my 15 weeks visit when I found out I was having twins I was put on BP medicine that app. SO far so good!! Irelynd and Shae came with DH and I and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. They said it sounded like Thumper!! How cute It was great to hear the HB. I forgot to ask him what the blood disease is called that I have, the name is so long I cant spell it or remember it so I will have to call tomorrow so I can find out. I am having a little swelling in my hands and feet but he is said I am still ok. That was it, we scheduled my 21 week u/s and I went and had blood work done to check for spina bifida. I never had a visit that short ever with the twins. It just felt like I was forgeting something, it just didnt feel right! HAHA :laughing:

Had to edit for spelling and I kept forgeting words! Crazy placenta brain I am telling you!!

 

Other than the level 2 u/s's starting at 20 weeks, my twin pregnancy was very much like a singleton. I'm glad you had a great appt! I hope your blood pressures stays down at a decent level! glad the kids enjoyed the visit too! not long before you find out gender!!! (if you are going to!) Congrats!

sounds like a great app! my BP is running like your's...but mine is like that period at any doctor's appointment....I am for now staying away from any medication....but I have a bad feeling it will change.
