Hi ladies--we've had one of these since our twins were born and they've loved it. One of my babies is colicky and many times this is the only method of soothing, quieting, or getting him to sleep.

When my guys hit 5 months I was desperate to get them on a daytime schedule--they catnap all day long. Stupid me-they both love the swing so why hadn't I thought to buy a second one so they could both be lulled to sleep at the same time. Now, having two is a godsend...when they both seem sleepy but need a little nudge I put them in their swings and they nap for longer periods, at the same time. I actually have time to do my piles of laundry!

In my opinion it's definitely worth the $$$ to buy two. You can buy them cheaper on Ebay or Amazon.

Good luck with your pregnancies! :hug99:

    Thanks for the tip.

We have 2 Baby Papasan chairs and 1 Baby Papasan swing. I was planning on putting 1 in the chair and the other in the swing. Did you find that your twins like the swing better than the chair?

The chairs are wonderful also and when my guys were newborns (about the 1st 8 weeks) they spent much time sleeping in the chairs as they would not sleep on their backs no matter how hard we tried. Our visiting nurse suggested we put the chairs in their cribs and have them sleep there at night (pedi OK'd it also)

From about 2 mos on, we used the swing primarily to calm either of them down when they were fussy & we weren't able to hold them. I noticed they usually ended up falling asleep in them so before bedtime (they were sleeping thru the night at about 3 1/2 mos, I am truly blessed) I would give each guy a little swing time.

Now in the 5-6 month range when I'm told it is possible to get them on a schedule I am finding these swings are a miracle when it comes to scheduled naps. I'm shooting for a long morning nap, long afternoon nap and short evening nap.

The catnapping they did drove me nuts...one was always up and the other sleeping for 10 min. It was like one knew the other was waking up and it was his turn to sleep!

Just something to consider. It was easy to get my singleton on a schedule but these stinker twins just love to mess with their mommy! ;)
