Ds loves to sing...he sings all day. Even at school, the teachers tell me he's very shy unless it's music day. I would love to encourage this, so what can I do?

I think you should definitely buy him some play musical toys. Ask him what his favorite instruments are and go from there. My girls have a microphone that records their voice and plays it back to them and they love it. We picked up a small bag of instruments from a yard sale (tamborine, bells, wooden blocks, clackers, etc). Then we bought them a guitar, saxophone, and violin for Christmas which is what they had specifically asked for. They play with them quite often and have even asked for lessons, which we might do after they get a little older.

In addition to getting him instruments, get him an mp3 player (they have kiddo ones) and load it with children's songs.

My girls love to play on a Casio keyboard...even as babies! We had an instrument set but they really like the keyboard. :)
