So I know I'm not the only one who has the dreaded mush for brains that come with pregnancy. And twins are holding true for the whole "double or nothing" thing for me. When I was pregnant with my DS I had it, but it never went beyond momentarily misplacing my car keys or cell phone. This pregnancy I'm forgetting everything it seems! So I wanted to share a story of something that happened today and ask all you ladies to share something that happened as a result of your preggo mush for brains!

Today was a beautiful day for us. 65 degrees, sunny, just beautiful. I took my DS (who will be 3 in just a couple of weeks) with me to the car wash. I had all the windows rolled down and doors on the SUV open and was cleaning out trash and vacuuming. At some point I had gently shut his door so I could squeeze past. I did not shut it for real and I made a mental note of that. However, as the mush mush mush goes I forgot about it and we drove across the parking lot. I put the money in and we pulled in and as the cycle started I realized I never shut Kaleb's door all the way! I tried to reach back and just open and close it really quickly but we keep the child locks set on the back doors so of course I couldn't open it from the inside and there was NO WAY I could get out to do it. Poor kid got soaked EVERYTIME the washer went by. I felt awful but there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. By the time the car wash was over his pants were wet and he was so mad. The whole way home he kept saying "I'm wet, Mommy. WET!".

    Anyways....share your stories ladies!

Right after I had the twins was worse. We would find their powdered formula can in the fridge. And other weird things that I can't remember right now. Is it possible for your brain to remain mushy after having children?, lol. So, look forward to crazy things happening after you've had them and are lacking sleep. :)

    Funny, funny story btw!

My brain is always mush but I love that at least now I can blame it on pregnancy brain!
