So yesterday morning I had my 12 week OB appointment, and everything went great! No concerns, nothing. The Dr. said everything looked good. I went back to work for the rest of the day. On my drive home I thought, I should call the peri and set up my appointment, since my Dr. had given me a referral that morning. So I grab the paperwork I had been given that morning, and start looking for the phone number. And then I saw it, ugh right there under diagnosis it said multigravida supervision, twin pregnancy. Oh my God! what could this mean. She didn't tell me anything was wrong at the appointment, and now I have this multigravida to worry about it. Hmmm, multi of course referring to the fact that I have twins, but what is this gravida referring to. I am freaking out about this all the way home. I finally get home, run to the computer and look up multigravida, to see what could possibly be wrong. And there it is, multigravida - A pregnant woman with one or more previous pregnancies. Awww, relief. I had to laugh at myself after I figured that out.

That is funny, I would have thought the same thing for I never heard of Multigravida. I am glad everything is going good.

You did better than I would have, I would have called the ob's office to find out what the heck it meant then and there. I would have called the after hours number if they closed

I've seen that on the ob/gyn forms they make you fill out for your first visit... Those # of pgs/#of children slots really confuse the nurses when I tell them this is pg #3, and I have 3 children... they look at me like I have a third eye.. I'm thinking...okay how hard is it to figure out I had a set of twins in there???!!...
