Sorry in advance for all the TMI! The past couple mornings I been having a gooey discharge not the normal pregnancy kind. Its thicker.... I think its my mucus plug coming out little by little but Im not sure. My first pregnancy I dont even remember losing it. If so I am 34 weeks and 1 day..... I been reading alot on the mucus plug and it says it may be weeks or sometime hrs before you go into labor. Whats everyones experience with that? I wanna keep them in for as long as I can but if I were to go into labor soon is there a good chance the babies would be okay?? Thanks guys..... again sorry for the TMI!!

With my other pg's I lost my mucus plugs about a month before I delivered. With the twins I started noticing it a few days before they were born. HOWEVER, losing the plug is not necessarily indicitive of impending labor -- it can actually renew its self from my understanding.

If it were me I would defintely mention it at the next appointment and just try to be more aware or in tune with your body.

Thanks for the comment!!! Does that sound like it could be my plug??

It does sound like your plug, if it looks kinda like jelly and not just gooey discharge. It may even be tinged pink or brown. But it can regenerate itself so there is no gaurantee's about labor :)

As for babies, yes at 34 wks they are going to do GREAT!! They will probably spend a few days or weeks in the NICU, depending on how big they are, how well they eat and if they can keep their temp up themselves, but otherwise there probably won't be any major problems! :D

This is what my ob told me. I lost mine at 31 weeks (I called DH in a panic b/c I did not want the babies to come out so early). I was not dilated at all, and had them at 37 weeks 6 days. GL!
