Mucus Plug

I know this has probably been discussed to death at some point, but I am asking anyway. lol

I started losing mine this morning. Lovely.

With my son, I lost it over the course of a few days and I think it took about two weeks or so before my water broke.

I was just curious if it worked the same way with twins or if it would be an accelerated process due to there being two babies. I've also been having more Braxton-Hicks last night and this morning than I have in over two weeks.

Trying to drink a lot of water, and definitely looking forward to going home and laying down in a couple hours.

 

I lost my mucous plus at 24 weeks, and didn't deliver until 28 weeks 1 day. My peri told me not to worry about it, and it is not a sign of labor. She also said, your body will produce more mucous, and more so since you are carrying twins.

 

I lost mine last Wed. (34 weeks 3days) and I'm still losing some every once in awhile. No babies yet but since then I've been cramping like crazy and having more BH's then normal. I was 1cm two days before I lost it and after I was 2cm. I'm still 2cm and long. So I guess you can go awhile. lol

 

I think I just lost mine too. I'm quite in panic actually, it's too early for the girls to come.

 

I think it just depends on the person. I lost mine about the time my water broke but they gave me mag drip and that held me off for a few days. With out it, I probably would have delivered that day or the next

 

I lost mine at 34 weeks and held out until 36 and 5 without meds.
