Mucous plug

I was wondering if anyone here ever lost their mucous plug? What does it look like? Is it all in one clump or a lit bit at a time? Yesterday and then I think it was on Fri or Saturday, when I went to the bathroom I noticed a little bit of thick, clumpy stuff on the TP. I was wondering if it was just some thick discharge or possibly th emucous plug?

 

thats what happened to me with 1st DD, i delivered her at 34 weeks 2 days.

 

Mine was thick, mucousy, and blood-tinged...lost over a period of about 4 days. If that's what yours is don't fear though...you can lose some of your mucus plug throughout pregnancy and then it regenerates.

 

mine was like a glob of blood tinged snot!!!!!

 

It looked like someone blew their nose and had a cold. Sorry to be gross but it was gooey and slimy. I had a very large plug and it came in chunks.

 

Iv'e never lost my mucous plug, but I've always heard it's normaly blood tinged. Yours sounds more like just excess discharge...I had a ton of that when I was pregnant with the twins...had to wear pantyliner most days towards the end of my pregnancy. DIdn't really experience a lot of it with Olivia.

 

Yep, good descriptions previously. I lost mine over a period of a few days. I called L&D (with twins) and they said not to worry, it can be lost well before the babies come.
