Moving!

So we will soon be moving! I'm excited about that and the girls keep asking about the "new house". Well, we have decided to move the girls into twin size beds that are being given to us by a relative. So that means we get to pick out new bedding and decorate a room! Any suggestions? The beds and their dresser are dark brown. As of now, there is paneling in the house but we will hopefully paint it.

We need some inexpensive bedding options because we also have to buy mattresses.

 

We recently moved and made the switch to twin beds too. I wanted bedding that wasn't too baby-ish and that would last for at least 2 or 3 years. I decided to go with cotton quilt sets and I love them. I got them from babysupermall.com and they look just as they did online. I know several other moms on here have had really good luck with the ikea barnslig rand set (duvet covers). That was my first choice because they're cotton and very affordable, but we don't have an ikea close by and you can't order the set online. GL!

 

That's what we have right now. I'm thinking that if we put them in separate bedrooms I'll probably upgrade everything, but they still want to share a room right now.

 

Unfortunately we don't have an Ikea anywhere near where we live We did find some bedding yesterday, not too babyish so I think they will like it for a few years. They said they wanted purple and we found purple lol. Went to a store called Anna's Linens (I had never heard of it, it may be local) that appeared to be a discount/wholesale store. We got 2 twin sets for $30 each.
Ah, after a quick search HERE is what we bought.
