OK, so I remember with my singal pregnancy near the very end the baby would start to "slow down", not move around as much. Im 26 wks and it seems like the twins are already starting to slow down. I do feel them so Im not worried about that, but it seems the movements are less and smaller? Is it typical for them to already be slowing down? What are you experiencing? Thanks.

i experienced the same thing around that time. i was very worried. but as long as i felt them both at least once an hour....i was sure they were all right. i am built really small so i just figure its because there isnt much room and two bodies growing rapidly. also now....at 29 weeks........... ALL THEY DO IS MOVE MOVE MOVE!! they wake me up, they make me feel like i cant breathe. especially little baby b...she is at the fundus and pushes her little hiney up into my lungs like crazy! so it might get better...or worse. lol however you look at it!

DITTO!!! My baby B (girl) is super duper duper active, pushes herself upwards all the time, showing off her elbow, feet, whatever she can and brought me bad episodes of heartburn and indigestion. Ribcage feels like its gonna break anytime too!

I have my busy baby B who lets me know she is awake and my softer baby A who I have to sit and wait to move. The last few weeks, I have noticed less movement all together, but they are running out of room. Normaly if I have a problem getting them to shake it ;) I drink something cold and sweet (OJ is my fav) kick my SWOLLEN feet up and wait for the party to begin. ... Which happens in a matter of 10-15 min.

My girls went through phases like that - sometimes I felt like I was pregnant with one GIANT octopus - movement everywhere
and then at about 28 weeks my baby A slowed down to where I barely felt movement down low at all - they always had to wake her up with the buzzer at my ultrasound visits. weird thing is now she is still my more laid back baby! I called my dr so many times and had several extra ultrasounds because of it now I know she was probably just packed tight and comfy!!

Thank you. I knew they were moving and that was good... But the slow down was making me nervouse. Glad to know you'all are having the same thing.

Once they start to get cramped the babies will begin to nudge and swish more than kick and punch.
Try not to worry too much. So long as you feel them move every day you should be fine.

On a side note, I had one twin who just loved to rub (affectionately for him, I'm sure) against the underside of my ribs on the left side. Just stroking... Back and forth... Back and forth... He was a little sweetheart but for a while that was all I could feel from him towards the end. (Around 37 weeks)

I am 28 weeks and 4 days and experiencing the same thing also! Baby girl is always more active but she has slowed down a bit in the last 2 weeks and baby boy has slowed way way down and I do get really worried about him . His position is transverse and he has an anterior placenta but he has been in this position for awhile and i could always feel him. But then too be honest sometimes i am not really sure who i am feeling????? I am on bed rest with an IC do you think it would be smart to get a fetal heart monitor???? Because to go to the doc. everytime I am worried puts my cervix at risk......and everytime I am at the doc they are so hyper that i feel silly for being worried. These 2 babies are my first so I am clueless

Every one is comfertable with different things. I wont get a monitor for 2 reasons. First, I just don't buy gadgets. Second, Im not a professional. I wouldn't really be able to tell if something was wrong or not. I would hate to think I heard 2 good heart beats, ignore a problem, not call my doc, and there really was something wrong.

But your right, feeling one and not the other as much or maybe even not at all is scary. But like you also said, can you be sure who your even feeling at a point?

No joke when they talk about a "mothers love" right?

Sorry, my computer is acting up so it quoted you kinda funny?
