It was really exciting. We went to Walmart for a few things and then remembered that we had gone to the mall to do some last minute gift getting. We have to send my mom's presents to NC so we needed a couple of things. Since we are supposed to have another big snow storm tonight into tomorrow and monday we figured we had better do it today. By the time we were done we needed to stop and get dinner. Poor DS and DH were starving. I had to stop and look at Pottery Barn Kids. That stuff is so expensive, but adorable. Anyway, we sat down to eat and I felt all of this poking or fluttering just above my pelvic area in line with my belly button. There was quite a bit of movement. My DH couldn't feel it though, it would have been a little weird for him to try to in the restaurant. I don't think it can be felt from the outside yet anyway. I am pretty sure it was the babies. Yeah!!!!

Feeling move is always fun. Soon enough your hubby will be able to feel them moving. :)

Isn't it neat? That was always my favorite thing about being pregnant.

It is great. I can't wait for him to feel it. He keeps trying, but has a good attitude about it when he can't. This is the first pregnancy for him so I love watching him experience it. It will be great when he can feel it too.

I love it. It was my favorite part of pregnancy with my other two children. I wonder how different it will be with two. Twice as neat I'm sure.

It is great, it is the little bit of reassurance that they are doing ok in there. So glad your DH was able to feel it, that is going to be exciting for us too. Enjoy

Wait another 2 weeks or so and I'm sure DH will be able to feel it! How exciting! Definitely movement down there at 18 weeks!

Hi everyone!! I am new to Twinstuff and I love it! What a great group of woman and these boards have so much information! I am a bit nervous as I don't feel the twins move too much. I only feel flutters when I do feel them move. I am almost 22 weeks! I can't feel the movement outside my body yet. Hmmm..this is my first pregnancy..could that be part of it? I know that they are okay as I have rented a doppler and listen to their heartbeats every 3 or 4 days. I wonder why I am not feeling stronger movement yet?

Welcome to TS and congrats on your pregnancy :) It could be b/c of where the placentas are. If you are really concerned ask your doc. That is good you are able to hear their heartbeats all the time :) I knew if I rented a doppler I wouldn't do anything but sit here and listen lol

This is my first pregnancy too. It took me a while before the babies were strong enough for me to feel the movement outside (and not just inside). As long as you are feeling something I think it is good. At 22 weeks the babies aren't even a pound yet probably (or right at a pound or so), so might be hard to feel. Also, a pp is right. It depends on where the placenta is. Baby A has a placenta on top so I don't feel him as well as I feel my other baby (has a placenta more on the side).

Thanks for the advice. It made me feel much better! The girl's placenta is on top and the boy's placenta is on bottom. So, it may be that. I felt a couple of good movements the past week. Little pops in my belly after I ate something. That made me feel better. I have to remember that they are so small still!!
