So Adalynn , baby A, has always been more active than Jackson, baby b, however in the last few days I really haven't felt much from him. Is this normal? I have a follow up with my ob to get my glucose results and other blood work tomorrow and will be asking him, but it concerns me when I really don't feel him too much.

Have you tried eating or drinking something with high sugar or caffeine content? Definitely do that today and feel for movement. If you have any concerns, don't hesitate to go in for a quick scan before your appointment. It's not unusual to feel less as you get further along, but any decreased activity after sugar or caffeine warrants a trip in.

I told you on a different thread that my baby A - Vanessa was more behaved, since her back was towards my belly so I rarely felt her move, at times I wasn't feeling her for days towards the end - which always scared me. I think if you lay on your back for 10-15 min you should be able to feel a bit of movement, I used to do that, and at times that was the only way to make sure she was moving. Towards the end it gets really cramped in there, so I remember worrying about her a lot. I remmeber once I didn't feel her move at all 2-3 days in a row. Everything turned out OK, and at each appointment I was mentioning it to my OB and he was always reassuring me it was normal at that stage of a twin pregnancy.

A lot of times it just really depends on their current position, my baby A always made me aware of where he was at, my baby B was facing my back and her body went accross my mid section and just in general didnt make me uncomfortable...so it was harder to notice her.
I agree with Steph, try some sugar or caffeine and if you are still not sure, call your OB.

Well I had a f/u with my OB today. Both babies are doing great, heart beats are great, and they're about 3 lbs each. My doc said to keep up my kick counts and if I go more than 2 hours without a kick then to get to L&D. He also told me I'm not allowed to go to the fireworks on the 4th (which I wasn't really planning on anyway b/c it's so dang hot!) b/c babies freak out with the noise and women tend to go into labor then. So I'll be sitting in my cool house watching them on TV, lol!

Just wanted to let y'all know! Have a great day!
