Hey, guys! I'm a little over 24 weeks and both babies are doing really well. But my question is.. Is it normal to feel only one baby move? I have only felt my boy move a few times. But my girl moves all the time. I don't know if she's blocking his movements or what... if I'm more sensative down low where she is than up high where he is. Everything has been great at our appointments though.. I'm just wondering when I'll feel his movements. Maybe I am feeling them more than I think and am just assuming it's her. ?

Maybe he's on the back side of your uterus?

Believe me, you'll feel them both kick and kick and kick soon enough. :)

my baby B has her placenta in the way of her getting through in addition to her facing her sister, but I do feel her stretch and when she turns from vertex to breech <_< ( I even yell at her to stay head down, but she does't listen )

I had a very tough time feeling baby A move compared to baby B ~ she didn't have much room & stayed in the same position pretty much throughout the entire last few months! While baby B (who was smaller) was doing somersaults & crusing all over the place
I bet that the baby is moving, it is just the positioning that is making it difficult to detect.
As always, if you are at all concerned about the lack of movement though, please call your OB :good:

Call your Dr and ask them. Sometimes they'll let you come in and see them on Ultra sound! Or drink OJ or protein and you should feel more movement.

I was just actually at the OB's on Monday and had an ultrasound done, and like I said everything is giong good. It's been like that ever since I've been able to feel movement. I feel alot of what I assume is the girl moving and not much of the boy. But who knows? They wiggle around so much and change positions.. I've seen them do it on the ultrasound that maybe what I think I feel sometimes is really him. I'm just waiting for those big blows everybody talks about :)

Maybe he is at the back of my uterus.

Hi! It's momolu from BabyCenter. I am glad you found your way over here. It is hard for me to tell who is kicking, but I had an ultrasound today, and both babies are head down, so that might help me figure things out. I know exactly how you feel though!

I was always worried about Victoria since I never felt her move. She's down low. Michael is up high and kicked me from the day I could start to feel it. She was inverted & breech, plus the placenta was in front of her so I never felt her. At 24 weeks I demanded an u/s just so I could see that she was ok! She was..... Now, she kicks the living crap out of my bladder & anything down there low... it hurts!!!!! But, I'm really happy to feel them both! It's soooo neat feeling them at the same time too!!! I have movers!!!!!!!!

I was always worried about my DD as she didnt move that much compared to my hyper-active DS! I needn´t have worried as she soon fought her space later on!

Mention it to your OB if you´re concerned but Im sure everything is fine.

I worried about this a lot too. It turned out (after asking the U/s tech) that what I thought was Jake's feet was actually Ryan's butt! All along I thought I couldn't feel Ryan, but it was HIM! It's amazing how much they move around and you are still early enough that you won't feel it all of the time. In a few short weeks, you will know exactly where they are and be feeling everything! :) The best (and weirdest) is when you can see their foot press out. DH always got freaked out by this!
