    Hi there,

Two weeks ago I went for my 20 wk u/s ( I was 22 wks along). The babies measured 24 wks!! They were moving & having a great time! They both have their own placentas (which are anterior) and are in their own sacs.

Now my question is this: I don't feel them moving all that much. If I do it's usually lower down on my abdomen or towards my left side. Sometimes I get this strange crawling feeling just underneath my right breast. But that's it.

Shouldnt I be feeling them moving everyday at this stage of my pregnancy? I guess I'm just very expectant to feel their constant kicks etc. The tech didn't think that the anterior placenta would pose a obstruction in me feeling them move, but that's the only reason I can think of why I'm not feeling them all that much yet.

Anyone else have this? How long to go before I feel these little ones everyday??

I feel my kidlets everyday now at 25 weeks, but not definite kicks or anything. Mostly rolling and some thumping - but what what I was expecting. Movement really picked up for me btw 22-23 weeks.

I'm still not feeling lots and this is my third pregnancy! I was feeling regular movement by this point with both of my others. I really think there is a lot to the anterior placenta thing. That's were mine is too, and both other times they were posterior. Plus, you have two placentas padding your front and absorbing those kicks, I just have one.

I wouldn't worry too much. I didn't start noticing very regular movements until around 23 weeks. They weren't real predictable, it was also on one side or the other. A lot of it depends on the placement of your placentas. If they are blocking the babies movements than obviously you aren't going to feel them as much. Their kicks will get stronger every week.

I'm due about the same time as you. Movements have been picking up for me in the last couple of weeks. It depends on the time of day and what I've been doing as to how much I feel them. When I'm at work sitting down the majority of the time...I seem to feel kicks/flutters around my bladder. Once I get home and relax, I start to feel kicks around my belly button and underneath my breasts. It's different every day though. From what I've read and what I've heard, movements pick up around 23-25 weeks...and then slow down again later on. HTH

I'm 24 weeks and I definitely feel my boys every day. However, I feel Tristan way more than Aidan, Tristan is a pure kicker. Aidan is just a mover it seems, doesn't kick too hard or too often.
I asked the u/s tech about this is she said it was b/c of Aidan's position. Depending on where they are nestled you may feel them more or less, day by day it will differ as they move around.
She's right b/c there are days where Aidan seems quite the kicker and it surprises me every time!!

Around that time mine were really active. It felt like they were doing summersaults in there!!

Do you do kick counts? Drink some juice, lay on your left side and if you don't feel 4 movements within an hour, call your OB.
