Ok, I think this is probably normal, but Im curious how many of you feel your babies move on mostly one side. I feel Baby B (on the left and breech) WAY more often, at least, it feels like her - its on her side, thumps coming from where I know her little feet are (RIGHT ON MY BLADDER!) I occasionally feel Baby A move more obviously on her side (right), but for the most part Baby B is leading the show. I watched lots of movement on an ultrasound, and I do know that Baby A can be moving and it feels like Baby B, but often it feels just too obvious for it to be anything but my Thumper Baby B!

    TIA!

I always feel more movement on one side then I do on the other and the ultrasound person mentioned to me that it might seem like one is more active then the other and that some people worry about one not moving but that they can both kick on the one side. Even knowing that I still blame the boy for every kick I get lol. (I have b/g twins) As long as I occasionally feel it on the other side I choose not to panic.

I always feel more movement (crazy movements!!) on my left side than my right. My Right side movements are more subtle and like nudges. Today at my U/S I saw my little Boy (B) who is on the right totally flip from head down to breech on the screen and I didn't feel him at all, so that made me feel better. It will be interesting to see their personalities after they're born to compare to in utero!

It could also be that a placenta is in front of Baby A causing you not to feel as much from that baby.

My Baby B was high and breech as well and I felt her all the time. Most of the movement you could see on my belly was her stretching. Usually, I could only feel Baby A when she had the hiccups.

I went to the OB at 26 weeks complaining I had never felt my daughter move, only my son. They did an U/S and I could see my daughter moving like crazy. Turns out she was hitting her brother and that is why I could not feel her. I have a video of her beating on him from the 3D/4D U/S

I am only 17 week along and it is my first time pregnancy so I dont know what it feels like very much just yet but the Tech who did my U/S said that since my babies have two different placentas and two amniotic sacs they are not in the same place. So Baby A (right) Placenta is on the bottom white Baby B (left) placenta is on the top. I felt Baby A move and I dont recall any movement from baby B just yet. The tech said I probably wont for a little while after because, Baby A only has to kick through muscle and skin. Baby B has to kick through Placenta muscle and skin. So dont be worried. :)

I'm so glad for this thread. I've been having exactly the same worries, and everyone's responses help me to relax. I feel baby B much more, but I think the placental placement is the key. Everytime I go to get an ultrasound they're both moving like crazy. I just get paranoid sometimes, especially because they say you should report feeling less movement. I can relax a bit now. :)

My little girl on my left moves constantly, she is a little wild girl. My little boy pretty much just sits there. I never feel him very often. But on the ultrasound I could see him kicking the crap out of his sister so I know he is active, I just can't feel it. The other night he was moving wildly like his sister trying to flip over or possibly just push his sister into a corner ALL night long. I was so excited to finally feel him moving. I am 35 weeks and still hardly feel him move. He is A-OK though!!

I always felt baby b (Sophie) more than baby a (Jack) She seemed to constantly kick wear as Jack just seemed a little lazy! I think it was the way they were postitioned. x

For the longest time I felt only baby A on my right side-when I finally had a sono I saw that baby B on the left like was breech and facing inward, but could see her on the sono moving all over (I just couldnt feel it). I dont know if she (baby B has flipped and rolled because I just recently started feeling them both quite a lot. Also, it is very possible one is just much more active then the other. I think so long as every once in a while you can feel them both then you dont need to worry...impossible I KNOW!

I always felt Baby A (Ainsley) on the right, vertex. I would have worried about Annika, except she got the hiccups at least once a day

My one twin has a placenta at the front so I don't feel her as much since the placenta cushions the blows. The other twin has been a mover and a shaker and her placenta is towards the back. I often feel them when I lie on my side -- they like to remind me that I'm lying on them.

I cannot tell you how reassuring it has been to read thru this thread. I am so concerned b/c I don't feel the baby on the right move nearly as much as the one on the left. I have a doppler at home so I can listen to their heartbeats which are always strong and in the low 150s. But even with the twin on the left, I have to chase him/her around to find the hb but the one on the right is almost always in the same spot. It's hard not to worry. I have my level II u/s in two days and I cannot wait to see them and see who is in there.

I thought I was always feeling my baby A kick, and hardly ever Baby B--but at my ultrasound today, the tech traced both their feet up my belly and showed me how they were all clustered together up at the top--so there are four feet kicking the same darned spot!!!!

(it was super cute though, because then she traced down to their heads, and Baby B was laying with his head on his brother's heart. Aw)

I always worried about this, I could feel B doing a vigorous exercise routine all the time and hardly ever feel A, she would rarely stretch her arm which I could feel.
They are so exactly like this since being born as well. B is my DS and he will not stop wiggling! A is my DD and she is very content being mostly still.
It is difficult to really tell with all the limbs in there!!!!

I, too, have noticed this! Although according to the ultrasounds both their feet are downwards and that's where I feel most of my movement. After 9 pregnancies, I have NEVER noticed movements like this! Usually their feet are in my ribs but with the twins now it feels like my bladder is there kicking bag. It's terribly uncomfortable! :)
