i know most people think this is too soon and i just have gas, but i seriously dont have gas. its different than anything ive ever felt before (this is my first pregnancy). most of the time it feels like butterflies (like when youre on a rollercoaster?), except its only in a space about the size of a quarter. like a little tickle or something. i dunno its weird...is it really too soon to be feeling them?

I felt mine for the first time around 12 weeks, then they took a break for a while and I started feeling them again around 18 weeks. Everyone feels them at different times, it can depend on your weight and the position of the placenta. Enjoy it is one of the best parts of being pregnant.

With my first daughter, I felt the butterflies around 12 weeks too. I am overweight and still felt them. What you explained sounds exactly like what I felt!

I felt my twins at 11 wks. I felt like I had jumping beans inside me! Nobody but my OB believed me (these will be my third and fourth children). I did go for periods where I wouldn't feel anything for a while, just so you know.

I felt mine at 15wks... a very very clear KICK. You are carrying twice the amount of baby in the same small space, you WILL feel movment earlier... YAY, that is so exciting!!

With my first (singleton) pg, I felt those tickles at 10.5 weeks. With this pg, I felt them at 9w2d.

It's exactly as you describe! I always said that it felt like a little bug walking around inside my skin!

The early movements were erratic (a couple days on, a couple days off), but the overall pattern was that the feelings got stronger and more consistent. I beleive that I felt my first definate kick before 12 weeks with this pg (it came at 14.5 wks with pg #1).

I felt mine move around 9-10 weeks! I agree with pp, yes it is exactly how you describe it, and trust yourself to know the differences. As you get further along and know where your twins like to "live", you will be able to discern the differences more in gas bubbles, and your babies, as well as which one is moving when! I feel mine move a lot now and look forward to everyone else getting to feel them move too! Have fun!

I felt mine at 12 weeks also. People told me it was gas but the sensations a little later reassured me that I was feeling the babies. I also experienced feeling them and not feeling them for periods of time in those early weeks so don't freak out if that happens.
