I feel the boys on a regular basis and im not worried that they arent moving enough by far, but the dr said they both are more on my right side which makes it more uncomfortable for me. I find that one of them is under my ribs all day and night. he might move for about 1-2 hrs out of my ribs but end up right back there. i just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this as well. because sometimes my left side is soft and squishy while my right side is rock hard because they both are leaning over there. I push him out of my ribs sometimes is that wrong? i try to lay on my left side to make them move over sometimes as well. Does all this seem normal??

Great question - would love to hear other's thoughts as well. I find that my little girl is always more active and makes my left side of the belly pop out much more than my little guy!

I am sorry that you are experiencing the rib pain! I have it alot myself.....One thing that I have found that helps get my guy out of my ribs is a very cold water bottle...or ice pack.....I just place it at the base of my ribs....and he takes off! he doesn't like the cold! Do I think it is mean??? heck no...it hurts and my right ribs stay sore. Good Luck, I hope this helps you out!

I have the exact same problem. One of my boys nestles into my left side and won't move. I sometimes tickle my left side or push down on him (which is getting hard because they are getting big).I knew when he turned head down. The pain was excruciating! It hurts in the ribs, the back...it's horrible. Don't feel bad about trying to get them to move. We are so uncomfortable, any relief is a blessing!

My girls were the same way, except they prefered the left side. Baby B (Kaylyn) was constantly in my ribs! I would try and massage her out, and even if she moved for a while she would always find her way back there. It is really painful, and I think its perfectly fine to try and readjust them (if they will even move for you!). Good Luck, hopfully he will move on his own soon.
