We have a Mountain Buggy Urban (with the swivel wheels, dunno if you ordered that or the fixed-wheel "Terrain"), which replaced our well-used Maclaren Twin Traveller (now on permanent loan). It's much easier to maneuver than a SBS because you have more leverage. It's been pretty rugged so far (but the MacLaren has been, too). It's still kinda huge, even folded up (tho' it at least goes flat unlike most joggers). The only real complaint we've had is the cloth basket tends to stretch out, so it sags in the middle and drags along curbs and stuff. One of these days I'm gonna put some ribs into the basket or something to stiffen it up and keep that from happening.

The tires had a tendency to go flat over the course of a several months - finally ended up replacing the tubes (twice) and getting a decent air pump, and now we've had no troubles with them.

Been real dependable otherwise. About the only thing it doesn't do that the Maclaren did is fly with us on trips. (we just borrow the TT back for those instances)

    Hope that helps!

We love ours. We've had it since our babes were born and they're now 31 months. I think you'll be really pleased with it, particularly for the ruggedness of it. You won't ever feel like it may fall apart. In fact, I get stopped by old men at hardware shops, "Now that's a stroller!" I have flown with our MB and it's been fine. I can't imagine not using it in the airport as the times I've done it, I've been on my own. Enjoy your new toy!

We have the MB Urban Single for Oliver (our singleton) and I love it! It rides so smoothly and it very narrow for a jogger. It actually folds up better than I thought it would... it's certainly not "small" but pretty compact for such a great stroller. I get compliments on it all the time. Enjoy your new stroller!

We have the fixed wheels Terrain and a big thumbs up. The girls are almost 4 and it still looks new and we use it A LOT!!! The only thing that I didn't like was when they were very young (3-9 months) they would get a little upset when they couldn't see me so a swivel handle would have been nice, but other than that, I can't think of a thing I can complain about.

    Love love love it!

We bought ours used -- I think it was 2-3 years old when we got it, and we've had it for a year now. When we bought it, one of the bars that keep the front wheels from folding back was already broken. We used it for almost a year with just the bar on the other side, then that broke too (while DH was tugging it through frozen slush -- so it was partly his fault). The company sent me a new one within days, with instructions on how to replace it.

Our only other problem is that the tires tend to go flat -- not spectacular blowouts, but slow leaks. We replaced the tubes a few times, and now we keep a bicycle pump right next to the stroller in the garage and check the tires every weekend, and blow them back up as needed. We also replaced the old tires with new extra-sturdy ones, and that helped.

On the whole, we totally love it. It is sooooo easy to maneuver -- I can turn it around in a coffee shop with one hand while holding my coffee in the other hand. We have the Urban -- I think the Terrain would be a little harder to turn. It also goes over curbs & bumps really easily (that was the main reason I didn't like our Maclaren TT). I look forward to using it until the girls outgrow it!

We put "Slime" in our tubes, which seems to help a bit. I think the 12" tubes just aren't to the same standard as regular-sized bike tubes or something. The one time it didn't help (and we were having chronic problems) I think it was a valve issue. The new pump helped, as I discovered I was keeping the tires underinflated.

I have no doubt the MB would travel well, but it's just a treat to blow through security and be able to shove the MacLaren into the xray machine. We've dazzled more than one TSA agent with that trick. ;)

The Terrain won't be as easy to turn, but I don't think it'd be too bad. The fixed-wheel joggers tend to be more balanced (having the wheels way out in front) so you can more easily take the weight off the wheels to pivot around. Especially in malls or someplace with a smooth flooring surface, it becomes habit and you don't really think about leaning into the handle when you turn.

I know this might be a stupid question but what does a Mountain Buggy look like?

    Here's a picture: http://www.joggingstroller.com/Mountain-Bu...rban-Double.pro

We have one and love it.. We recently bought a front to bag jogging stroller (kidz kargo) and it was much harder to maneuver.. we returned it. We also have the combi twin for the car and there is no comparison!! Get ready to push with one hand and drink, eat or talk on the phone with your other!!

Oh BTW ,the picture below has the twins in their MBUD!!

Love mine also, and I've not had any trouble keeping the tires pumped up (although the little pump that came with it is hard to use - we use a regular bike pump). It's the only stroller I have, got it when they outgrew their infant seats and the Snap 'n go, and see no reason why I'll ever buy another stroller.

It is big though. It lives in the back of our minivan, as we don't have a garage, and it's a big clunker to keep in the kitchen! I love that it will hold them up to 60 lbs each . . . which at this rate they're not going to reach until 6th grade! I'm sure they'll refuse to ride in a stroller long before they outgrow the MB!

I figure it also has good resale value. It's so rugged that even if I use it for 4 years it will still be great for someone to buy used.
