I wanted to know if anyone has or uses a Moses Basket.

I was going to order one but I saw on the label that you can not carry your baby in it.

That is what I want it for.

Can anyone tell me what they know of this item?

    Thanks

I have a Moses Basket - I used it for my second baby. I would not attempt to carry a baby in it - definitely not two - the bottom is not rigid and it seems like an infant could easily roll out as you're toting it around. And I'm one that's skeptical of everything being totally dummy proofed these days ...

yes I used one with my first daughter and agree it is not intended for mobility with the baby inside. It has a rather soft wicker bottom and while easy to move from room to room, not really something you would do with the baby/babies in it. when I used it with DD i put sleep positioner wedges around her, so I think you could sandwich two in it, but it depends on the size of the MB and size of the babies. You would likely run out of room quick!

Someone gave me one and it has only been good for holding stuffed animals in the corner of his room. I do not recommend it. It's less work to just carry or use a sling or whatever. Just make sure you have bouncy chairs and/or swings on every floor of your house so you have a place to put the babies down.

Personally I don't see any use for them at all, except for maybe looking cute. LOL I think bouncy seats are much more practical.

My friend had one -- the baby wasn't warm enough in the basket on the floor next to their bed, so they ended up using it IN the crib, while he was small, to help keep him cozy.
