    I was sick all the way to the OR but it went away that day. The past two weeks, I've been waking up nauseous and have done the deed twice. Does morning sickness ever go away??? Blech..

    I meant the first post, I actually heaved twice. DH and I sleep with babies in between us and any time we get an idea of things going someone wakes up whether its child or dog!

    I disagree that morning sickness only occurs when pregnant- I had many of the same symptoms of being pregnant when I was on birth control pills a long time ago. Hence, the reason I quit those darn little pills.
    On the other hand...could be cause you are tired or perhaps dehydrated?? Try drinking a lot of liquids and eating some protein. Might just be that you have a little bug...

    If your BFing, you could be really dehydrated, or even under-eating. You need a ton of cals to BF, you know this, and they are probably taking in more at this point due to a spurt. I always get sick to my stomach when my blood sugar is way to low. Try eating something like mashed potatoes or some toast and see if that helps.

    I also got really sick around 3mos. time with DS and the Twins. I was so run down that I got the flu, mornings are the worst for me 'cuz the rest of the day I am too busy to realize that I am sick.

    Hope you feel better soon!

    OK, I get it now. Nasea and vomiting are symptoms of dehydration. I found this on the net:
    Symptoms Return to top

    * Dry or sticky mouth
    * Low or no urine output; concentrated urine appears dark yellow
    * Not producing tears
    * Sunken eyes
    * Markedly sunken fontanelles (the soft spot on the top of the head) in an infant
    * Lethargic or comatose (with severe dehydration)

    In addition to the symptoms of actual dehydration, you may also have vomiting, diarrhea, or the feeling that you "can't keep anything down," all of which could be causing the dehydration.

    Try drinking any fluid you can handle, and eating things like fruit, jell-o, soup, etc. If you still feel bad then call your doc or go to the ER. They might have to hydrate you with an IV. Keep us updated!
