we were out at the aquarium today seeing 'nimo' (nemo) because the twins are in love with him at the moment.

Morgan had been asleep so she was lying down in the pram without a seatbelt on as its to tight when they are lying down, i have always done this and nothing has ever happened.

She must have woken up without DH or I noticing, because we weren't at home, we were in the big city, she sat straight up and wanted to get out of the pram.

i dont know how it happened, one minute i was pushing the pram and the next minute Morgan had fallen out onto the concrete.

I thought she had broken her neck, i picked her up not even thinking, she was screaming like she had never screamed before....her nose was bleeding but thats it, she is fine now but she was in shock at the time.

Piper was scared too, she didnt know what had happened and why Morgan was screaming.

luckily nothing severe happened, we bought ice-creams and the girls settled down then we went and saw nemo and they were so excited they forgot all about it.

I will defiantly be leaving both girls belts on all the time now.

i never want a shock like that ever again, the way she landed i thought for sure she had broken something.

    im so lucky.

That's scary!! I did that once, tossed the babies in the stroller because it was raining & ran into the store. I intended to buckle them in once out of the rain, but the lure of Target made me forget!! Anyway, Garrett stood up & fell righ on his head. I think the sound of a baby's head hitting concrete is the worst thing I've ever heard!!!

God, how terrified you and dh must have been. THANK THE LORD she is ok and once again, it is one of those "lesson learned" kinda things. It's amazing how resilient these little ones are. If it had been me tripping over my own feet and hitting the pavement, I would have been in the hospital with brain damage for sure :vava: Or perhaps it would have fixed some loose screws up there

Just happy she is ok !!!

that happened to my youngest son when he was a year old - also in Target! he had been walking since 7 months and climbing on everything since 10months so I guess I just wasn't thinking about him falling out - oh it was so awful!! we ended up in the ER and they did a catscan - luckily he was fine but I know how you feel - it is one of the worst feelings!
