My babies are 2 weeks old and are sleeping most of the time. They wake while they are eating and when I change their diapers but other than that they are knocked out (not that this is a bad thing). When do babies start to have more wake time? I can't remember from my other kids.

My girls are only 8 months but I can barely remember those first few months - strange to say. But, I feel like it was around 2 months that I started to notice their awake time lengthening.

Isn't that funny that we forget!

Mine spent their first month like that and then their awake time gradually increased from there. Enjoy it while it lasts! :lazy:

2-3 months depending on how early they were :)

Yeah, I think we got about 1/2 hour to an hour around 2-3 months.

Ours only woke up to eat for the first 5weeks. Then they woke up of an evening being colicky but they still only wokeup to eat through the day but by 8weeks they were up a little longer between feeds.

I think mine started staying awake more between 6 and 8 weeks.
