More pictures of my triplets :)

Hi ladies! Several of you requested some more pictures & I can't resist that request! Here are some more of the girls...

All 3 together eating rice cereal for the 1st time.

You can see just how different the girls' heads are shaped. Gabi also has a mild case of torticolis. I just spoke to DH & he said we could do the test for $99. I'm excited! Thank you all for letting me know about that. I would not have known there was something affordable out there for us to test them.

 

They are all gorgeous!

I can't imagine having triplets either. The feeding part would not be such a big deal, it's the fact that as it is there's often one fussing, so with three there would always be one fussing... I think I would go nuts, lol. I bow to you

HA! You should see the way I do it...enough to make anyone fall to the floor laughing. I have 1 on the breast & 2 bottle feeding (EBM, I'm a pumping milk machine) & can manage to type when we are feeding. It has been tricky but doable.

Thankfully, there is not many times when that occurs. They are pretty good babies. I have only had a few times when all 3 have been going at the same time & rarely when 1 starts, stops, the next 1 starts, stops & finally the 3rd starts. My son is very mild mannered, not 1 to fuss much. It is the girls that are my spit fires!

I do not think they are identical. Not at all. I've never been wrong so.. I don't know. Could they be wrong on the 2 placentas? I mean, I looked at the pic of all 3 of them and literally couldn't figure out which 2 looked 'enough' alike to even compare?? They all 3 look pretty different to me and I do not see very many similarities between the 2 gals.

They are BEAUTIFUL and you did a GREAT job carrying them sooooo long! Man, you must've been BIG! Can we see belly shots?

You sound like a miracle mom I know I'd have died with 3. For real. Good JOB!

And ya, I'm 99.99999% sure they are not identical. If you could do ONE more close up of the face I could tell you the other .000001%.

See, the thing is that they do have all the same features (eye color, nose shape, mouth shape, same chin), same blood type (O-), shared placenta (double checked w/ dr about this & it WAS NOT fused), & weighed about the same at birth (4.9 & 4.4). Let me find another picture of them from a different angle that really shows how much they can actually look alike & post it.

 

I'm another one in admiration of you!! how FUN of a pic with them all with the specific words for Fathers DAy! You are truly a blessed woman!

I'm having a TOUGH time here!!! I see what you mean in that pic but again.. SOOO far away that I cannot compare feature to feature.

Did you have a day 3 or day five transfer?

This is soo fun.. of course, it matters none if they are id or frat but it's just INTERESTING isn't it?? I can't get enough of this game!!

Okay, so here's your chore.. (*cuz you don't have enough to do already), Take out your digital camera and put the babies side by side in the same outfit or NAKED. Get ONLY the heads and take a ton of them. Get the ears and all.

What are other people saying?

Can you start a thread that says.. "ID or not.. Please post your opinions.."

And then put all the really good close ups on it?? That way everyone can answer and we can see what we all think!

Need to know if it was a day 3 or 5 transfer tho.

I also did IVF and had IDENTICALS so I just find it amazing. Mine were sharing sac AND placenta tho so we knew for sure and I did a blast transfer at day 5 of two. Always thankful the other one didn't take cuz I am an absolute wimp compared to you!

Gotta agree w/ the pp... a close up of their facial features. my id boys are a result of a 5 day transfer. they also had a fraternal triplet sister, so I had the opposite of you! One of my id's also dealt w/ the torticollis. I guess they were just too squished in there!

 

We did a 3 day transfer. I'm working on the pics for you ladies & will start a thread. Thanks!

 

When my boys were born, they looked alot alike. I called the dr. office about a week after their birth and asked about the placentas. The nurse said one placenta so we thought the boys were identical. A lot of people including family thought they looked identical. I had my doubts from day one and my gut told me they were not identical. At my 6 week PP checkup, I asked to see a copy of the pathology report which clearly said they were Di/Di. We shelled out the $99 for dnanow.com and found out they are in fact fraternal, just as my instinct told me.
If your instinct tells you identical, they probably are, but in my opinion it is worth it to spend the $99 to get an answer for sure.

 

They are so cute....I'm amazed I carried two inside me let alone three! The seat thing that you have them in to eat their cereal is really neat...did someone make it for you?

The seat wasn't made FOR us but it was made by a triplet family. It was handed down to me by another triplet mom that got it from someone else & so on. It is great!

 

Okay, so in the picture of the three of them.. Which ones are we looking at to see if they are identical?? I cannot figure it out!! The blue socks make me think that is the brother but that might be stupid of me! I seriously have never been stumped! This is a first for me.. I just do not think they are identical!

I am counting the seconds until you post your "What do you think?" thread!!

Call me obsessed... but this is coming from the person who KNOWS with all of my heart that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen ARE identical even tho they don't know it! They SOOO are!

Hurry hurry!! And YES you absolutely MUST do a DNA test. This is the first time I have EVER told someone to do it too!!

My son is in the middle, LMAO! Ok, it is going to take until tomorrow for me to get these pics up. They just woke up from a nap, I am pumping, then they get their bottles, sweet potato, bath & then bottle/bedtime. I promise to work on it tomorrow morning!
