Is it just me or do the mood swings get worse as the pregnancy goes on? I am feeling so nasty today and the littlest things are setting me off with an attitude or tears. I guess being uncomfortable and feeling like I am trapped in my house is not helping! Don't get me wrong I know I am totally blessed having 2 babies and that I am almost at 34 weeks and they are hanging in...Maybe I am annoyed b/c my DH is watching football and not paying any attention to me! I feel so needy!
I figured someone had to be feeling the same way!

Definitely feel the same way. I just really try to be patient with myself (easier said than done) and don't put too much on myself. I feel especially sensitive and drained in the third trimester, it seems.

Yeah, I didn't believe in the whole hormore changes until I got pregnant with my 1st DS. It really kicked my butt. It does seem to get worse the bigger and more miserable I get. I'm right there with you. I was joking with my DH that my hormone levels should be returning to normal soon.

I feel the same way as you do. My DH has been very patient with me lately. I try not to put too much stress on myself either. I dont do too much except carry the kids to school, pick them up, and cook dinner (usually in the oven or crock pot). My Dh does the rest. He has really stepped up to the plate as far as taking care of things. I tell myself all the time that I have the rest of my life to clean my house. Right now I am just trying to take it easy. I do snap for no reason though. Both of my kids play soccer right now and DH is coaching one team. So I am alone all day, the kids come home for a couple of hours to do homework and eat dinner, then I am alone again while they go to practice, then they come home take a shower get a snack and off to bed. I was feeling VERY VERY VERY lonely tonight while they were gone. I was ready just to explode venting to my DH when he came home but he asked me to walk around the neighborhood w/ him and the kids b/f I could even start complaining. He is great but I still seem to be overly emotional sometimes. I tell him it is almost over.

Oh no, my moods are going to get worse! LOL I am only 19 weeks and the "horror"mones are already driving my family crazy. They never know if I am going to be angry or just cry.....

Yeah, I'm definitely more moody! I feel so bad for my DH--he's been so sweet and patient--but sometimes I'll just burst into tears after he says the teeniest thing (or even when I just imagine that he's feeling the teeniest bit annoyed). It can't be comfortable to live with!

I can totally relate, I am on my 13th week of total bed rest....I started bleeding at week 5.....Week 15 I had 4 blood transfusions.....this pregnancy has not been fun....Yet if feel truely blessed to be 18 weeks pregnant with twins....I have gone 17 days now with Zero bleeding!!!! Praise God.... :D I have two teenagers that come and go between school and activities....I feel left out because I am usually real involved with their stuff....My oldest son turned 17 today....and not to be doing everything for his party tomorrow feels foregin to me...

Take care, we will all get through this time....

I tell my husband in the morning when I wake up that I apologize in advance for my moody and cranky behavior today. Then I tell him how far along I am and how much time we have until the babies are here.

    He just laughs now!
