Okay--I have a 3 yr old boy, so when I found out one of the twins was a girl I freaked out a littlle. I knew all there was to know about boys, but nothing about girls. So, here is my CRAZY question----This is her first fall and winter and as you know when she wears a dress I have to put tights on her. I bought the cutest fall dress and she is wearing it tonight when we go out, but what the heck do I put on first--The dress has a long sleeve white onesie and then a brown corduroy jumper over it. Do I put the onesie on and then pull the tights on over top of the snapped onesie, or do I put the tights on first and then snap the onesie over top of the tights---HELP---This girl stuff is harder than I ever imagined!!!!--lol

Tights then onsie. It's a personal choice but that's how we did it with all four of ours.

Tights, Onesie, Then diaper cover if the dress has one. We are getting out of those now. Again, personal choice, but that is how I done it as well.

I always did tights under the onesie (we're out of the onesie stage now).

Tights first then onsie (it helps the tights stay up) although you can't really go wrong here either way will work.

I think tights over onesie looks nicer, but onesie over tights does stop the tights from falling down. I used to just pick based on my mood-aesthetically pleasing vs practicality, lol.

My DD has no butt, so I had to put the tights on first or they would fall down. Even now, I have to buy ruffled bloomers to put over stockings and tights just to keep them up!

humm well I'd put the onsie and then tights right off the top of my head but see my DD is still so little I've not put tights on so maybe I'd do it the other way around once I tried it since everyone talks about the tights falling down...good question

LOL. I would do tights then onesie. When you have the little panties that go with the dress, I do the tights, then those.

Don't worry, we don't think you are clueless!!! Girls are second nature to me...if I ever had a boy, I would feel "clueless" also! I have no idea what to do with boys!! LOL!

    Your funny!!
I do tights then onesie. I toothink it helps keep the tight up better. My DH dressed the girls once and he did the onesie then tights, they seemed to fall down more, not as secure. But whatever works best for you!
