I am sick as a dog right now. High fever, sore throat, awful congestion, headache, sore...you name it, I'm experiencing it. The boys (knock on wood) are not sick like me. How did you survive and take care of them? DH has definitely taken on the majority of the work once he gets home. Thank goodness I can take them to daycare. I just don't know what I would do if they were sick and had to be home with me.

What do ya'll do? I tried feeding one of them yesterday by wearing a face mask that DH uses when he cuts grass (he has bad allergies). I'm just so weak though that it's all I can do just to get out of bed. Plus I'm terrified that they might get what I've got. So far, I know it's not strep but probably just viral. I am on antibiotics as a precautionary measure.

Hope you feel better soon! It's horrible being sick when they are so little. Use the daycare and DH and go to bed! :)

I was sooooooo sick last week, and called every friend and family that I could think of to help take care of them so I could sleep. But everyone said "no" - since they didn't want to get sick. So I sucked it up and just layed on the floor with them. It was awful for 3 days. They were so bored and confused. But we made it through. Be so glad you have daycare! And feel better!

Get as much help as you possibly can. I was sick recently and still tried to do it all. That just makes it soooo much worse. You need to rest right now.

Sorry you are sick! I know it's terrible trying to care for them when you feel so bad. That is good you can take them to daycare.

Oh goodness, you poor thing! Yep, I would use daycare and DH as much as you can and just rest up and take care of yourself until you feel better. And if it's just you and the babies, by all means, just lay around with them and let them entertain themselves. They'll be fine.

I was so incredibly sick last week, couldn't even MOVE! I just did the feedings and put them on the floor, layed down, and gave them a bunch of toys. Mine crawl everywhere though, so that made it difficult to really relax. As soon as my mom got home from work(Im staying there for another month) I told her I couldn't do it anymore and could she PLEASE take care of them, and she did. I went to bed at 5 and got up at 7 the next morning, and felt SO much better. It was just what I needed. Now Im still sick (mostly just tired with the lingering cough) but Im better enough to take care of them. So I would use DH and daycare for a day or 2, rest a lot, and hopefully you will feel better. It sounds like you have the same thing I did, ugghh Im sorry, I wouldnt wish it on anyone!

It is really hard! When I am sick... I just have to deal with it. Like when I first got pregnant... I had horrible morning sickness... dizzy everytime I stood up... but I had to just do it... it was hard. I am hoping I don't get sick again for a while, ;)
