A different thread prompted me to ask this question: moby wraps and twins...the moby seems so time consuming to get on that I can't imagine popping it on and off to wear the twins. Does anyone have experience with using the moby? Is it worth checking out despite looking complicated to get on?

Once you get used to it, it's actually very quick to get on & off. There is a bit of a learning curve but well worth it IMO. It also helps to read up on proper baby wearing technique - good for your back AND your babies. :)

All that being said, I used to put my moby on in the morning & just leave it on. Baby(ies) go in & out as needed. I'd retie once or maybe twice during the day if it was too stretched out.

I looooved my moby. It was so much more comfortable than any other carrier I tried on.

Like Rachel says, the ties become easy. I could still do it in my sleep 2 years later!

I agree with Rachel and Steph! Its exactly what I did with mine! !! The twins prefer the ethos now but loved the moby before and I loved it BC I could keep with on and still hold the babies, you can't do that with the ergos

I agree. It becomes easier. It took a little while to get used to the newborn ties but I literally learned the hip hold tie in 5 minutes the other night because Livie has become sooooooo clingy lately!

It is tricky at first.. practice sometime when you have time to do it a few of times uninterrupted.. like when they are sleeping.

After you get use to it, it is pretty quick.

I mostly used mine in the afternoon when they were fussiest. I'd put it on around noon and just leave it on. easy to get babies in and out. Comfortable to wear with or without babies.

Even now they are bigger it is the most comfortable carrier i have used. I have a ergo that is nice for a something quick. But any lengthy wearing the Moby is by far the best. Many of the other carriers give me shoulder pain after too much time. Last month, I carried ds (22 lbs) comfortably for over an hour walking on the beach.
