My boys just got these vaccines about 4 days ago and have horrible diaper rash....but they are also getting molars, starting whole milk and eating lots of different foods....Before I call Pedi just thought I'd ask the experts :D

My girls had absolutely no reaction to the MMR or Chicken pox vax. We didn't switch to whole milk until they were 12 months adjusted (15 months actual) and both of my girls experienced pretty bad diaper rashes for the first couple of weeks until their bodies adjusted to it. I did call their pedi just to call and make sure that it wasn't a reaction and they said that it was totally normal.

My girls just got fevers following those shots. No rash.

MMR - fever and a small rash on Royce because of the fever, Varicella, neither. IMO, it sounds like it's probably related to the milk. Alice got terrible diaper rash about the time we went to milk.

We had MMR 7 days ago. Last night one of my kiddos woke up with a fever. Had the pedi not warned me that fevers 7-10 days afterward were common I never would have put 2 and 2 together. Hopefully the fever will be short lived and hopefullt that is all it is.

We had NO reactions to ANY shots...UNTIL...The MMR/Chx pox. UGH! LOL! It has been a long week over here!

They had their shots on Tues, 2/24. That Sunday-Anthony got the fever until Monday. Nicholas got the fever on Tuesday-Wednesday. Thursday Anthony got a cold/cough. Friday he woke up with a rash(day 10) on his stomach/back. I had called the pedi about the fever/cough/cold/rash and she said that A.) Could be a reaction to the shot. B.) Could be a virus-the cold-causing the rash. Or C.) A bit of both-vaccine and a virus. I think it was c.

They both now have colds/coughs but luckily, for the most part, they are doing pretty well.

The twins both got fevers after the MMR (if I remember correctly). Olivia has hers next week, so we'll see if she "reacts" to it or not.

As for the pox vaccine....Reagan did get chicken pox about 2 weeks after the vaccine. It was a MILD case. She had about 6 pox, but no fever or never acted ill. I did take her to urgent care b/c she was in daycare at the time, and they confirmed it was chicken pox.

Yep, 15 months was the worst set of shots for my twins. No reactions ever until they got to 15 months.
