My girls will be 13 months next week... Mackenzie has decided she doesn't want milk. We've been offering whole milk for over a month now, but the last week especially, she has just turned it away. We quit doing bottles a few weeks ago, and she had been doing fine on the sippy. But for the past three days, she has downright refused all milk: warm, cold, chocolate, strawberry (flavors were suggested by her ped.). We've even gone back to the bottle today to see if that would entice her, but it didn't. She and her sister have always been within 5 oz. of one another, but yesterday for the first time, Mackenzie was a whole pound less than Emma. I'm worried about her, but the ped. didn't seem too concerned. Has anyone else experienced this? Shouldn't we be concerned?

I'm going through this also. I'd be interested to see your replies.

Mine refuse to drink milk from a sippie. I have to have a regular glass with a straw in it or I have to pretend I am drinking it and they will drink it from my glass. Otherwise, they refuse it altogether.

Hmm... I've never tried a straw with them before. That's a good idea. My girls love to eat whatever it is we're eating, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the idea! :D

May be she's just not liking it anymore. Anyway our pedi suggested to enrich Sophia's meals with oil and butter for the calories. Whole milk yogurt will do the trick too. Smoothies, with added light cream, fat ice cream. In fact the girls fell in love with Eddy's Peanut Butter Dibs - tiny ice cream chocolate covered pieces.
