I have had this really bad migraine for 2 days now and it is effecting sleep and daily activities such as driving. Is it common to have the migraines in the end too? Mine were horrible in the beginning lasting a week or more at a time. I have an OB appointment tomorrow so I will be asking about them then too. But I am asking here because I was wondering if there are any other symptoms that compile together that might cause me to end up in the L&D early.

I am having the swelling in my legs and feet that won't go down, now these migraines. These migraines are effecting my driving  . And I know that isn't good at all. Should I just hide in bed or what??

    Thanks ahead of time!

not sure if you have ever had pre-e...but I think headache, swelling and high blood pressures are really bad signs... I would get in ASAP to get your blood pressure checked...I really wouldn't wait until next week...

i have never had any pre-e, and never had any problems with blood pressure. and they check me for that every visit. i have looked at the symptoms for pre-e and i have non of that. the swelling that i have isn't from salt, and the migraines i think i have pin pointed to my neck and stress. there is a lot going on here and i am in the middle of it all. mainly dealing with our house not done yet. and these babies due soon.

    thanks for the thought tho.

I have had headaches on and off through most of my pregnancy...i talked to my doctor about it and he told me to take tylenol as soon as I feel the headache coming on, and to not wait until it was really bad....this has helped me alot...also I use a hot water bottle on my upper back/neck when I am really tense and i find that this helps too.

I wish you luck in getting rid of your headache as they are definatley no fun...especially migrains!

    Good luck,

    Christine

my doctor prescribed tylenol with codine for the really bad headaches and that helped so much. See if your doctor could give you something stronger than regular tylenol. Stay hydrated and put your feet up as often as you can to reduce the swelling. Take care!
