Might be twins mom?

Hello, everyone.
I probably don't belong to this forum yet , but decided to ask.
We did IVF and transfer 3 blast average quality.
I got positive beta but not huge.

On my 5w2d u/s we saw one baby, but My Re was looking for more but nothing....
On 5w6d u/s due to bleeding antoher Re looked again for multiples but again nothing.
On my 6w2d u/s my RE saw the second sac hiding behind the first one but she wasn't able to look what's inside.
so so far I am not confirmed with twins. Or I just have the empty sac.... the first baby is fine and we saw the hb.

So what do you think, do I have a chance to be a twins mom? My Re sent me to the u/s at 7w2d with better machine, so I think we will find out on Monday, but before Monday might be you can tell me if this possible to have twins? Or this second sac will absorb itself?

I'm not a doctor but it is possible. I bleed at 8 weeks. When I went in to see my ob he could see a second sac but no heart beat and so he sent me for a scan with a larger machine at the hospital and yep, it was twins. Good luck with everything!

 

I have no idea, just hoping the best luck for you. How exciting if it is twins.

 

Congats on your pregnancy! it could be twins. I had spotting from week 6 and went in and saw only one fetus. Went back at 7 weeks due to spotting and still saw one sace until I made the np look again as I was showing earlier than I did with the other two. sure enough there was the other one hiding behind. She told me that its hard to see them when they are that small. I had another bigger ultrasound a few days later to confirm them and if they were in one sac or two. I asked the doc if the spotting could have been from that and she said yes. I had two other children before and never expereinced that until then! I was also more nausated and showing faster. I was in maternity clothes by 9 weeks. Good luck!

 

Totally possible, at 6 wks 4 days we found baby A really fast but could only see a sac on baby B. After going back and doing all the measurements for A the tech tried to find B again and finally found baby and heartbeat, altho it was so faint she couldn't even measure it, we just saw the slight flicker. She said it was hiding behind A, they are so incredibly tiny then that it's so easy to miss!

Went back 2 weeks later and both were measuring right on target, and still are at 24 wks!
