Middle name for Alyce

So we have pretty much decided on names for 1 of our girls but are still undecided about the 2nd.

So far we like Alyce (pronounced A-leece), but can't think of a middle name that we both like. Also, most of the time we would probably shorten it to Ally.

Any ideas?

I personally like the middle names beginning with a vowel the best with Alyce: Amelia, Elizabeth, Ilene, Olivia.
Nonvowel Nichole is my choice.

However Charlotte Alyce is my first choice.

 

I'd prefer it as a middle name for Charlotte. Everyone is going to pronouce it as Alice and since its this generation ask if she was named after the twilight character.

My Alice (not Alyce) is Alice Dale.

Wow! I named one of my twins Elise. I thought about naming her Elise with an "A" but decided against it because of the confusion it could possibly bring. Anyway, you have received some fantastic suggestions. I personally like Alyce Nicole. Please let us know what you select.

Hmm, that does seem to be a tricky name to come up with a middle name for. My first thought was Alyce Nicole.

My husband likes Alyce May, with Ally or Ally May being a nickname.

 

I like that. Its very pretty, short, soft sounding and pretty

 

Although you might absolutely adore the name Alyce I would consider spelling it Elise or be prepared for your daughter to constantly have to correct people. My best friend since I was 4's name is Alyce she is always called Alice by new people she meets and even answers to it.
