Merry Christmas ... BEDREST MOMMA'S CHECK IN PLEASE

I remember being allowed to get up for an hour to open presents and then having to get back into my bed. So, I wanted to start a post to find out how you ladies are doing. I am thinking of you.

I'm here, DH and I were up at 7 to open gifts ... like little children we are LOL. In actuality I have to take my Procardia at 6 so I was just up and we figured might as well jump start the day. Then I hit the couch until my mom came over to make us breakfast. I ate at the table and now I'm back in bed for a little nap. I'm 32 weeks today (yay!) and my OB gave me permission to venture out to my MIL's for a short visit, dinner and then back home I come. I just have to take it easy while there and if I even have one contraction I'm to come straight back. I don't think it will be an issue. Let's hope!

 

I was up early too. I take my procardia at 6:30am I'm also 32 weeks as of today.

Christmas was nice. I had all my family come to my house since I couldn't go anywhere. It was a good time. My folks cooked dinner for everyone and we had our tradition Christmas. My mother even helped me pack my Hosipitol bag.

 

Awesome! Glad that you are doing well. 6 weeks ladies and WOW -- you will be there. Merry Christmas.

 

I'm just on modified bed rest... so I was able to sit with DS and open presents, etc. I probably sit vs. lay down half of the day as it is... I get heartburn so bad, even with my zantac I just can't lay down all day.

 

My mom and dad set up a sofa bed in the living room and I lay there all day so I didn't miss any action. They had everyone come over to there house for xmas dinner and I was like the queen lying there while everyone did my bidding!

As they kept saying I better make the most of it as next year will not be so peaceful!!

Here's hoping.

 

I spent the day laying on the couch while everyone opened their gifts. Then they did all the preparations and I went and sat at the table for dinner and then right back to the couch.

I went to my sisters and laid on her couch all day long. That way, I didn't miss too much. I got so tired, though, so we came home early. I also had to take my Procardia at 5:00 am, so I got an early start.

My In-laws came up to our house on SAturday and we exchanged gifts on that day with them. Overall, it was a good Christmas! I am glad it is over though. Now getting down all these Christmas Decorations will be a challenge. I wonder where they will all end up?!?
