Ever notice how DH will never even pick up one of the many baby books laying around but will not hesitate to REPEATEDLY ask me the questions that he just expects me to be an expert on? I'm just expected to know everything b/c I birthed these babies? Or I'm just expected to find the time to read these books b/c HIS day has been so hard!!! Don't get me wrong, DH helps a ton, I just think it's funny and wondered if any of you feel the same.

I don't know, I was looking for one of my baby books one day and couldn't find it, guess where it was, next to the commode, apparently it was DH's "morning" reading!

Aimee, are we married to the same man??? My DH is also great and helps a ton, he just expects me to be the resident Dr. Spock. AND asks the same questions over and over.

My DH constantly asks me questions, like I'm supposed to know everythign!! Of course I usually have the answer from being on twinstuff!!

I take it as a compliment. He sees me as so competent that he thinks I know everything. I'm happy when I can say "I don't know" 'cause I often feel like a bossy know-it-all. I am a walking baby encyclopedia.

But didn't you all know that as soon as the baby(ies) come out your brain fills up with magical baby wisdom and you know everything?

My DH knew more about babies than I did when our oldest was born. I'm the one turning to him for advice when our older 2 fight. I'm an only child and he has/had 4 siblings. Sometimes I think it's a confidence issue and they don't feel confident in their new roles.
