Meghan Marie is finally here!

    Hi ladies!

    So Meghan is finally here! She made her debut Sunday July 6 at 3:35 am. She weighed in at a hefty 8lbs, 6oz and is 18 1/2inches long.

    It was totally intense. I had my first contraction at 1215am, and a few right after that were 11, then 8 then 6 minutes apart...I still wasn't sure it was the "real thing"...so I woke DH and said I was going to take a shower. After a quick shower, they were consitently 4 minutes apart, So I called the OB, who said to come on in. So I told DH to take his time..he took a shower, we called the neighbor to come be with the kids...so by the time we left and made the 30 minute ride to the hospital, it was 2:20 am when they put me in triage...they hooked me up to the monitor, and after all the questions, the RN finally checked me and said I was 7cm, that was at 3am. So they moved me to a room, called the doc up and when he got there 10 minutes later and checked me, I was fully dilated!! He ran to get changed..he barely made it!! Megan was out in 2 contractions and 3 pushes!!! So...I got my VBAC!!! It was so awesome!!!

    So everyone seems to be doing well, although we have only been home 1 day!!!

    :clapping: WooHoo! I am soooo excited for you! Glad you did it your way! Love the name! So fast! I totally agree.. my VBAC was so awesome too! :)

    Congrats! What an adorable family. Meghan looks very alert. That was a great slideshow. I'm glad everything went well and you got your vbac!
