Let's welcome Michelle as this week's Meet the Mama. It's time to put her in the spotlight and ask her those questions we've all been wondering about. Here is a little about her:

I am 37 years old and have been ttc for over 8yrs now. After going thru many fertility treatments, we finally got pregnant, then @ 14 weeks we suffered a misscarriage a year ago. Then after our 8th iui after the misscarriage, we our pregnant with twins!! Dh and I have a 13 year old son together, whom by the way is soooo excited about the twins. Unfortunatley, because of what I went thru, I still have my guard up and will probably have it up for another few weeks.

:wavey: Michelle!! I look forward to getting to you know you better!

's for having to deal with infertility and a miscarriage.

What do you guys like to do as a family for fun? What do you and the hubby like to for date nights?

Do you work? Stay at home?

    :)

We like to go to the boardwalk, movies or dinner as a family or sometimes just hang at home for a family game night and just order take out. I do work full time as a Histologist (prepare diagnostic slides for pathologist) in a private pathology lab. However, after the twins are born, I will probably go down to 30hrs a week.

    Hi Michelle :wavey:

I'm sorry about your losses.

What foods have you been craving with this pregnancy?

What foods have you not been able to/wanted to eat during this pregnancy?

Fortunately, I have been able to eat anything so far and I hope it stays that way...lol As for cravings, I haven't really had any. I don't know if that's good or bad. :)

    Hi Michelle!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I wish you a healthy & happy pregnancy

Do you plan on finding out the gender of the babies?

I see you have a bullmastiff! We are hoping to get a bullmastiff in another year! I have heard that they are wonderful with kids :good:
Anything I should know about bullmastiffs?? :)

Thank you! Its funny you should ask about us finding out the gender. I posted a question about that and we are still undecided. I want to know sooo bad. Dh is more against it. I could of found out already since I had the amnio, so that remains to be seen.

As for the bullmastiff, he is WONDERFUL!!!! Anybody, including a toddler that is a stranger to Samson could walk up to him and take food or a treat right out of his mouth and he would just walk away. He is 6ys old and had never growled or shown ANY sign of aggression. He is sooo laid back and calm, and always has been since we got him at 8weeks old. He is just such a big baby! I refer to him as my second son.

The things I feel you should know about them are that they drool a lot..but im used to it by now. The should be socialized from a young age with both people and other animals. I put him thru training and would also just take him with me everywhere I could, such as petsmart, the park, for a car ride or even just for walks. But I highly recommend the breed for children. My girlfriends 1yr old would crawl all over him while he was laying down and he just lays there with patience I will try to figure out how I can post his picture
