Media vs airlines

Seems like the news media has it out for the airlines. For months now they find another negative story, somewhere, somehow, and I’m not sure why. What’s up ? Maybe I’m a foil hat guy, but sure seems like they’ve got an ax to grind. Have an open border and harass the airline industry’s…..??

 

Media seems to blow up every tiny thing airlines do, but half the time my own trips have been pretty uneventful. I had one flight last year where I expected chaos after seeing all the headlines, and it ended up being totally fine. I even booked through Travel Business Class once because they had a decent fare pop up, and the whole trip was smooth. Sometimes the noise feels louder than the actual experience.
