measuring large

Hi Ladies

I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with our third child but am measuring 31weeks!!! I just had an u/s yesterday that estimated the baby's size as 2p 5oz which is big for 26 weeks. I'm not sure if i should be overly concerned or not. My doctor just says we'll wait and see how my glucose test is and go from there. I have read about measuring larger with your second pregnancy but this seems pretty big

any thoughts or advice would be appreciated

I know it's difficult not to worry, but if your doctor isn't worried then you shouldn't be worried either! Pregnancy is stressful enough just as it is.

And measuring at 31 weeks when you are at 26 doesn't seem that big too me. Singletons just have so much more room to grow than multiples do!

 

The measurements are all relative. Don't stress about it if everything else is going well.
