maybe you guys remember me?

hey everyone! you might remember me from the expecting forum but maybe not. i havent been on here since august, when they stuck me in the hospital for 6 weeks!! <_< anyways, my girls are almost 5 months old already, and things have been a little hectic!! i stuck a pic in here for everyone to see! also i was wondering what you guys thought was better between side by side or tandem strollers. we are looking for a good one and waiting on the warm weather!!

Glad to see you made your way back!! Your girls are beautiful, thank you for sharing. I personally like the side-by-side strollers.

 

Nice to Meet you!! Your girls are adorable. My advice would be a side by side, I havent even tried one yet, but I am going to when it gets nice because my girls are big enough now they kick eachother in the tandum and are always trying to turn around and see the other.

I have a SBS and I like it for most things, except shopping. I think my Combi twin SBS is lighter and easier to maneuver around in general, but I've found that a tandem would be much better fitting through aisles and through racks. Somewhere along the way, I'll need a new one- I got a lot of good reviews about the Kolcraft Contours. I think the best thing would be to have both, but I know that's not always practical!

 

OMG your babies are sooo cute! I have a tandem stroller and I'd like to set it on fire! But really I don't like it its too big and too awkward, I got it because the car seats snap into it but I think when the nice weather comes I'll be looking for a side by side.

As for strollers, its a personal preference. I love my Jane Powertwin which is a tandem. It was pricey, but its a great stroller for walks and trips to the mall. The back seat is elevated so whoever is back there can still see everything. It is big and bulky in the car, but I think thats probably true for sbs's too.. This is one reason I will be upgrading to a minivan very soon.

I prefer my side-by-side jog stroller...started using it when the boys were 4-5 months old. I also have a Combi side-by-side for shopping b/c it is a lot smaller, lighter, etc.

I prefer side by side. I use combi. I don't ever use my jogger except walking out of my house, the wheels are too big to make it convenient for in/out of the car..

Precious babies!! Are they ID for frat?

I like my SBS's (jog and Combi) except that one baby is forever pulling the other's paci our of their mouth--which causes such a rucous (sp?).

 

thnaks everyone! the dr says they are ID but i just dont believe it. to me , they dont really look alike. by the way i just ordered the duorider and a jogger so wish me luck!!
