Maybe a dumb question, but I am not sure

Ok here it goes, is cervical mucas the same thing as the mucas plug?

TMI sorry.....I have noticed a change in thickness and amount in the mucas for the past month or so. Is that the mucas plug coming out a little at a time or is it something totally different? :umm:

I found the answer to my question. Yes, it is the mucus plug slowly coming out. Thanks anyway.

 

i have had a change in cervical mucus and according to the ob that's normal - she didnt say anything about it being the mucus plug

 

I mentioned the change in discharge to my ob 3 days ago and he said it was normal and acted as if it was nothing.

 

I had thick CM for about 2 weeks now, but tonight I lost my mucus plug....trust me, its totally different! This globby, clumpy think was big and yellowish/white and solid.
