Maya & levi are here!

    After 2 months of bedrest, Maya Elizabeth & James Levi arrived via emergency c-section on Sunday, January 31 (exactly 36 weeks gestation). Maya's specs: 5 lbs. 1 oz, 18 in, 10:57. Levi's specs: 5 lbs. 15 oz, 19 in, 10:58. Both babies had apgar scores of 9, 9 and went straight to the regular nursery-no NICU!!! We all came home together on my 39th day in the hospital. Our little miracles are doing well. Our pediatrician changed our feeding schedule so that we are all getting rest and the babies are doing so well. Breastfeeding is off to a great start. I love being a mommy!!!! I can't wait until I've recovered from the c-section and get to be a mommy without any hindrances.

    What great names! Congratulations! It's great to hear that they had no NICU with an emergency section, too!
