Maya and Ayan are here!

    My babies came on 25th of August at 33 weeks. Maya came at 12:51am (3lb.15oz, 16.25in) and Ayan at 12:52am (3lb.11oz., 16in).

    In the last 2 weeks of the pregnancy, I was 6 cm dilated. My water broke in the night of August 24th. 30 minutes later I was 10cm dilated. Both babies were head down and I started pushing. After 2 pushes, the doctor said: I'm sorry but we have to do c-section because the cord and a arm is coming first. So, we ended up with a c-section with both babies head down:( But, the good news are that the babies are perfect. No breathing help! Last night they moved them from NICU to Special Care Unit. My colostrum started coming really good now. They took bottle from the first day and yesterday we practiced breastfeeding, where they did ok.... we will work on it every day. Tomorrow I'm going home and the babies will come in few weeks( 1-5weeks, depends on how good they will do).

    Congratulations Catalina!!!!! I am so excited for you and it's so good to hear that everything went fine! You are a trooper for carrying them so long with everything going on!I am so glad they are both healthy without breathing issues. Good Luck with everything!!!!!
