Maternity clothes?

I haven't been pregnant in 7 years and never expected to have another baby, so I didn't save anything. What types of stuff will I really need for maternity clothing and nursing? I don't want to spend a ton or get a lot of maternity clothes because this will be my last baby, but I want to look nice. I'm a jeans and tee shirts type of a girl so the jeans are the most important to me. I have seen the secret fit belly from Motherhood and the long and lean from GAP have any of you tried these? I have to buy everything online because I live on an island with no stores close by. Thanks!

 

I loved the jeans from Motherhood, with the panel that goes completely over your belly. They're so comfortable, stays up without feeling like it's cutting into me or pushing on my belly. I bought a pair of jeans, some jeans capris, a pair of corduroy's and a denim skirt, all w/ that kind of waist. And the first week or so after having Spencer, I still wore them, with the band just folded down.

 

I recently tried those pants on from motherhood and liked them too but opted for the bellyband (which is working out just ok) but if you can afford those pants I really liked them. I just didn want to spend 30 a pair.

For Nursing I used nursing tankinis. I bought them mostly in used lots from Ebay. You can wear them under everything. They will still hide your midriff and are better than a nursing bra IMO.

 

I got lucky one of the moms here on twinstuff sold me some of their maternity clothes, I posted a thread on the auction/shopping forum. You might try doing that?
I also have bought things on Ebay too.
I like the all Motherhood Maternity & Duo Maternity Clothing. I find that they are more comfortable and roomy.

I have a couple pair of the secret belly fit jeans. They are very comfortable. I bought mine used and I think I would recommend buying them new if you buy them. They are kind of stretched out, so they don't stay up very well. I wear a tank top under them and they stick to that, so it isn't too bad. I bought a pair of shorts new and they stay up fine without the tank top.

I am also in the inbetween size where I'm not really huge, but my regular jeans don't fit either. The maternity jeans may fit better later.
