Without even trying Miles has picked up totally impeccable manners. Bum change? No thanks Mummy. Lunch? No thanks Mummy. Bedtime? No thanks mummy. Time to colour? No thanks Mummy. What would you like to do today? Chocolate please!

I can't get him to do anything! At least he's polite about it though.

Can he come over and give lessons? When my kids get cranky, they seem to think it's legitimate manners to say "please" in this horrible shriek/snarl/growl that sounds like a bobcat coughing up a hairball. Um, no. Does not count.

Sure Holly, but I just want you to know ahead of time that I have a strict no return policy. No exchanges.

He totally knows he has me on this one; he can say no to anything and I have to CONGRATULATE him for being polite. Little booger! Good thing he's cute. And yes, I'll take manners too for now because I can still haul him over my shoulder when I really need him to do something ;) .

Change it up and give him two choices "color or playdough"?
Diaper change on the floor or the changing table?
    Gotta love the manners though.
